This week the theme for instance was social engineering and included a story of two people who became homeless in New York so they could work on their writing. Every week is different, totally original and generally very thought provoking. The amazing thing about the show is that these are true stories about real life, they generally bring to mind the phrase "the difference between truth and fiction is that fiction needs to be plausible".

Re: This American Life T-Shirt Competition

I tried out the 'this american life podcast' it seemed nice but it tried to tell me that my views are the same as my loved ones. I thought about it, decided no, that's complete bullshit and stopped listening. This British life is too short to listen to 'This American life'. Half the fun of my relationship is telling my girlfriend how much I disagree with this and that opinion and taste of hers.

Re: This American Life T-Shirt Competition

He's got the bikesalute.com shirt in his flickr account.
